Today we did a hike with the whole family! We started from Cala San Vicenc and from there we went to Port de Pollenca. We walk along the beach to the end of the town, cross the main road and from there a really beautiful hiking path goes to the bay Cala Boquer. There we have a long break being watched by some goats. We take the same way back and stop in Port de Pollenca for some ice cream and sangria.

For my birthday this year I choose to stay at Ses Rotges in Cala Ratjada on Mallorca. The hotel was really nice and I especially liked the breakfast they made us in the morning of my birthday 🙂 From the hotel it is only a 3 minute walk to the sea. There were huge waves and at some parts of the footpath there was a high chance of getting wet 😛 We walked along the coast for some hours, finding some nice cliffs and enjoyed the landscape. Cala Ratjada is actually a quite nice place to stay early in the year, because many restaurants and shops were already open. In other towns of the island it is not so common that places are open in March.

Today the sun is shining again and it is hot! We cannot believe that it is end of November. We drive to Cala Portals Vells which is about 20 minutes away from Port d'Andratx. Cala Portals Vells is a nice bay with some caves around. We stay a bit at the bay and then we start walking in the direction of the Faro de Cala Figuera. This is a really beautiful walk. You always look at the blue water and around the lighthouse are some nice picnic spots. We also go to the old pirates tower close to the lighthouse. We walk up the tower, but its a bit scary, it is so old that you think it will fall into pieces every minute.
